Crazy crazy Life

Just realized that I haven't written anything in a while, mostly because I am not the greatest at writing, as is visible from my previous posts. I wish I could say that I'll do better, however that is most likely not going to end up happening.

Update on life:
So nephew's mom has her new baby, took her a while to be allowed to take it home from the hospital, but for now she has backed off. We know it is only a matter of time until she tries something new, so we are always prepared.

At 21 months old, my nephew is flourishing, I spend every Friday with him, plus over winter break I watched him everyday. I love being such a big part in his life. I am always trying to find new crafts to do with him, mostly it is just coloring with crayons or chalk. He has done a few fingerpaintings, and I am currently trying to think of what he can make for his dad for Valentine's Day.

My brother, his dad is also doing great, besides work, he is taking a couple of night classes at the local community college, plus he spends most of his free time with his son, except when he goes on dates with his new girlfriend. She is nice, but I am having a hard time dealing with her, because she spends a lot of time at our house.  As happy as I am for my brother, I honestly do not want to see her the whole weekend when I am home. She is great with my nephew, and he has accepted her into his life.

School Update:
Currently I am in my third year of college, and I am slowly going crazy. I can't stand half of my classes, but need to stick with them for my majors. Stressing over starting Practicum next fall is definitely not helping, I regret even deciding to be an education major. I stick with it only because I know that it will help me with my hopefully future daycare.

And now it is time to head back to studying for my Biopsychology test, which is in 3 1/2 hours.

As I slowly go insane, maybe I'll actually start writing again, instead of being that loser that I am, who only writes about two or three times a year.

Stress Levels Growing

Wow, I am extremely lazy. When I started using Xanga again, I planned on actually writing and being interesting and stuff. Instead, I just read all the other blogs because people are much better at writing things out than I am. And honestly, lately I have not had much time. I have spent my summer taking care of my nephew three days a week, and then nannying two other children twice a week. My family is stressed out because we are finally going to court about my nephew. I am being told that there is no chance she will get custody of my nephew (See my last post...cough...from Feb...cough), but there is a chance she will get unsupervised visits.

Since I last wrote, we found out that she is pregnant, but there is no chance the unborn child is my brother's child. And I just found out two days ago that since it is a girl, she doesn't want the baby anymore, and plans on giving her up for adoption. This is good, seeing as we were praying she wouldn't get to keep the baby anyway, since she is not fit at all to take care of a child. She needs a lot more help before she should have any children under her care.

I personally think she only wanted a boy so she could attempt to raise him better than my brother is raising my nephew, which she would honestly have no chance of.

But the past few days, she has been texting my mother and saying things like she wants to die, she wishes she had died, etc etc. Each time my mother is calling the cops, because who is my mother to decide if she is bluffing or not. That is not something to take chances on. So my mother then also calls her mother, and finds out that her mother has also been getting these messages. Her mother then tells my mom, "Oh yeah, you should definitely be calling the cops each time, but no I am not bothering. And don't forget, she isn't just threatening her life, but her unborn child's life too" Ok, so if you are that worried, why aren't you also calling the cops? Oh right, that's because you are as dysfunctional as she is.

The stress level just keeps growing in my house, and the only thing keeping us sane right now is my nephew, who is almost 16 months old, and is developing right on track. He is so close to walking, has number's 7 and 8 teeth coming in, and says my name, along with mama and dada.

Now if only my family could lose some of that stress.

I'm so sick of Psycho's! Especially this one!

So my nephew is 10 months old. His mother and my brother were together for almost two years. My brother recently moved back home with temporary physical custody (or whatever its called) of my nephew, while he and the mother share legal custody. He moved home because she mentally abused him and threatened to leave him a variety of times. Near the end of his time with her, she began threatening suicide.

Now she's been fighting to try and get custody back. The only problem is that she signed an agreement instead of having to go to court, saying that my brother gets temporary legal custody. Part of the agreement is that she needs to get evaluated for drug use (She has been nursing even though she is on methadone, legally, but she still shouldnt be nursing. She isn't allowed to nurse anymore now) She still has not gone. My brother also had to go, as part of the agreement, to make it fair. He got IOP. His last meeting is on Monday, which is my birthday.

She has been sending him and my mother nasty emails and has also finally gotten a lawyer of her own. She gets the option of visitations everyday, and my father and brother offer them everyday, however she does not always answer back. She told her lawyer that she hasn't been getting offers, and the lawyer sent my brother a document saying he needs to offer them.

The night before my brother moved home, she took his computer and threw it, luckily it somehow still works, however the monitor doesn't. During a visit, which must be supervised by the legal supervisors (my parents or hers) , she pushed my brother around, after my father left the room with the baby due to her getting worked up, and then broke my brothers glasses.

There have been many other things going on, but so much is going on that I'm losing track of it all. Oh but she also has two drivers licenses, which are both suspended (the difference is that she changed her eye color for one). Yet somehow, she managed to get a car, which she shouldn't legally be driving.

The most recent issue, is that she hacked into my brothers email and sent an email to her father pretending to be my brother. She also had my brother's myspace password sent to his email so she can go into his myspace. My mother is currently trying to convince my brother to press charges, since this is her impersonating my brother.

Right now, we are all so stressed here, we don't even know what to do half the time. We are currently taking it one day at a time.

Mmm..Eating snow while romping in the cinnamon buns...

Woo hoo...snowday...on the day that I have ONE class..instead of tomorrow when I have 3 classes...ugh. I reallly hate my school. They have snow days on the most inconvient days. Luckily my good old buddy friend was able to walk across the crazy ice sidewalks that the maintence at my college decided NOT to salt and come over and have tacos and cinnamon buns. Oh and if the maintence men plow the parking lot, then my car will get blocked into it's spot by the huge mounds of snowy ice slush. Woo hoo...who loves digging their way through that with a car scraper? *Raises hand like a little kid who had way too much ice cream* Mmm ice cream, but no I ran out of that this morning when breakfast did not fufill my glorious breakfast needs...Eggs out of a box and hot chocolate that tastes like coffee anyone?

One good thing about this school...Chicken Nuggets for dinner...however my good old buddy friend and I have to risk our lives walking all the way across campus to get to the cafeteria to have these yummilicous chicken nuggets.

Anyone wanna just come bring me some dinosaur chicken nuggets and half baked ice cream so I don't need to move from my spot on the floor?

Kthanxbai.

Back to School

Remember my complaint about the possiblity of rooming with my crazy ex-roomies crazy ex-roomie? Yea those fears were unfounded. I am now in the nice apartments on my campus. :D I gotta tell you it's pretty cool. At first I was deathly afraid that my new roommates wouldn't like me and that I wouldn't fit in. Yet again, fears that were unfounded. I've only met two of the three roommates so far, but they are really nice. They are education majors like I am, and in their last semester/year, so obviously when I need help with education related stuff, I can ask them.

Now my last problem is, the girl who was in my room last semester was disgusting. I mean DISGUSTING. The sink was coated in something, making it yellow, the floor of the bathroom, well let's just say I'm not going to go in there without slippers or socks on because my barefeet aren't touching that, and the shower, was full of grime and hair. My mother came over and tried to help me clean and bleach everything. The toilet and the sink are nice and sparkly white. The floor I stilll need to fix, but I'm going to borrow my roommates vaccuum. The only problem was that the shower is clogged, so the bleach filled water drained so slowly, that the hair is still in there and even though my mother scrubbed when it was full, the tub is still covered in grime. Disgusting right?

So now I have to wait until maintinence comes today to unclog that and the toilet which flushes weirdly, and then I have to spray scrubbing bubbles and scrub the whole thing.

This is coming from a girl who has never cleaned a bathroom in her whole freaking life. So I am not looking forward to this at ALL!

Oh and not only is there that...I also have to get a new shower curtain and new rugs for the bathroom.

Now tell me...is it fair that I have to clean this bathroom when I just moved in on Saturday? I don't think so.

Wish me luck
